You can set an expiration for the Security Administrator (secroot) user account or set it to never expire.

1. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Management webGUI using an account with Security Admin privileges.
2. In the top menu bar, click Users.
3. Select the Security Administrator (secroot) user account in the list. The Cryptographic Security Platform Vault webGUI displays the details for the selected account below the table.

4. In the Account Expiration field, choose one of the following: 

   • Never—The secroot user account will never expire. This is the default.
   • Choose a date—The secroot user account will expire on the date that you set. Click Apply to save the date that you selected.
