When you create a Cryptographic Security Platform Vault-managed user account, Cryptographic Security Platform Vault automatically assigns an account expiration date 365 days from the date the account is created. If you change this default, the expiration date for existing accounts is not changed. The new value is only applied to future accounts.

The default expiration date can also be overridden on an account by account basis when you create a new user account. For details, see Creating a New CSP Vault-Managed User Account.

Note: This option applies only to Cryptographic Security Platform Vault-managed accounts. It does not apply to AD-managed user accounts. For details, see CSP Vault Authentication and User Accounts.
