In order to deploy the first Cryptographic Security Platform Vault node on GCP, you need to launch Entrust Cryptographic Security Platform Vault for GCP from the Google Cloud Marketplace.
- Log in to the GCP Console.
Select your project.
- Search for the Entrust Cryptographic Security Platform Key & Secrets Vault BYOL image in the Google Cloud Marketplace.
- Click Launch.
- On the New deployment page, enter the Deployment name, the Service Account information, and the Zone. For Machine type, we recommend using n1-standard-2 (2 vCPU, 1 core, 7.5 GB memory).
In the firewall section, ensure that you select Allow HTTPS traffic from the Internet.
Note: You will need to enter additional firewall rules. For details, see Configuring Firewall Rules for the CSP Vault Instance.
Click Deploy.
After the instance is created, locate your new VM on the Compute Engine > VM Instances page and copy the External IP address.
