Using Scripted Oracle TDE requires the following: 

• OpenSSL

• Python3 and the following python modules and packages: json, shutil, base64, requests

• Device-mapper and dmsetup

• Curl

If you are using RAC, please ensure that your Oracle RAC setup is working correctly before you start the setup. You can check the cluster and database status using the following commands: 

• crsctl stat res -t

• srvctl status database -db <database name>

Your Oracle database must be open before you attempt to encrypt it.
