See below for creating a client certificate.
Creating a client certificate automatically creates a CA certificate.
To create a client certificate
Log in to the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault for Cryptographic APIs webGUI.
From the Home tab, select Security > Client Certificates.
On the Manage Client Certificates page, click the Create button.
On the Create Client Certificate dialog box, complete the following:

Name
Enter the client certificate name.
Create for
Enter the name or group for whom the certificate is created.
Certificate Expiration
Enter the date the certificate will expire or accept the default of 1 year.
Certificate Signing Request (CSR)
Optionally click Browse and select the Certificate Signing Request.
Encrypt Certificate Bundle
Optionally choose to encrypt the certificate bundle. If selected, enter an encryption password and confirm it.
Access Policy
Select the access policy to associate with this client certificate.
Click Create.
